Congratulations Kate

The new line is a complete hit. Personally my favourite range of hers yet. Firstly the most enticing video, shot by one of my favourite photographers Nick Knight (as seen on Next Top Model) who reflects the trend of the collection through the romantic & dreamy feel alongside the fantastic song by the Strange Boys, Be Brave with Kate floating around in some of the key pieces to her new range. If you have yet to see the video check it out, it really is mesmerising :

A complete reflection of the video, dreamy, floaty and flirty.

A selection of some of the stunning maxis.

Short but sweet.

A stunner of a playsuit, made entirely of silk with an open back. I'm surprised it hasn't sold out online yet!

Take a closer look at the remarkable embroidery on the neckline of this shift dress.

I can't quite put my finger on why I have fallen in love with this dress, with all the lace embroidery on this peasant dress it's gone straight to my head.

Again lacy and beautiful, this time with angel sleeves for that complete angelic look.

From floral maxis to playsuits, bodycon and lace embroidered dresses, blouses to skinny jeans and shorts this collection answers all of this seasons prayers with florals, lace and silk, what more could you ask for in a collection? If I'm completely honest she's never been one of my favourite models to say the least but after the launch of this fantastic, breathtaking collection she's moved up a few notches past Naomi Campbell and Jordan. That really is something to congratulate her for.

Vogue July 2010

July's Vogue arrived on Saturday & it was just what I needed to make my hangover that little bit more bearable. Although then I was in no fit state to thoroughly enjoy it to its full extent, I remember being just about able to look at some of the adverts before I realised now was not the time & to read it when I can most appreciate it, either in bed or in the bath alongside a face mask & some relaxing music. Somehow I have managed to resist to read the issue as I am waiting until tomorrow on my day off when I can read it with my full attention, no distractions. It has been on the verge of impossibility as the front cover this month has been one of the most intriguing yet. The combinations of headlines that became more and more enticing every time; the supermodel story (right down my street), wonder dress every woman's secret weapon (who wouldn't want to read), inside Chanel Alexa Chung meets Karl Largerfeld (my favourite designer label & designer) and the immaculate vision of Grace Coddington (one of my favourite editors alongside Anna Wintour) and with Cameron Diaz gracing the front cover & bringing a sense of freshness, glamour & a feel of summer to the issue I have never looked forward to reading an issue more. Once read I will be reporting back.

Make An Impression

I may have forgot to mention something that I am rather ashamed of, I was actually meant to work on the Saturday, after the horrifically good yet messy night before & was so hungover I had to miss work which is the first. I promise. To make it up to them today, I turned up twenty minutes early & head to toe in Topshop's latest trends and worked my ass off. Even if they didn't notice, I felt a hell of a lot better.

Want to make a lasting impression? Try one of these corsets or leotards on for size.

Whether its a cool mint green or a faded floral you go for, each are on target for this season.

Underwear is outerwear body.

Floral Lace crop top, also in dress form, which is a stunner!

One of my favourites in store this season, corsets are best cropped. And floral.

Flirty and fresh; strapless lace & mesh corset top.

This picture does this no justice at all, believe me. In between a a corset, Cami top & very very short dress, this mismatch of colours and patterns is most certainly eye catching. To see it at its best catch it in full glory in store.

Enjoy the rest of this beautifully long weekend & make the most of your bank holiday!

How's it Hanging?

For me, not good. After waking up with a splitting headache, mascara smudged across my face and an incredible wave of nausea, I was a little worse for wear to say the least. Was it worth it? Of course it was. I had an amazing night out with my girlfriends, reconnected with people I hadn't seen in years and got a few free drinks along the way. That would probably explain the hangover of a lifetime.

If like me, you had an immensely enjoyable night leading to a day of recovery in bed, here are the Pyjamas to laze around in. Follow the latest fashions, even in bed, from bloomer shorts, to playsuits(!)to maxi dresses (!!!)

Adorable retro PJ's. Who doesn't love these mice.

Just like the Topman PJ bottoms, these supergirl bottoms are also available with a matching crop top! What ever will they think of next! If the crop top is a step too far try an over sized boyfriend tee. A touch comfier, wouldn't you agree?

These meadow floral print bloomers not only come in shorts but also in trouser, cami and slip form. What a selection.

Frilly, lace and flowers. I love it all the more due to the face its named Dobby. Brilliant.

floral frill teddy or playsuit style pyjamas.

I am actually tempted to go out and about in this little number! Stunning polka dot 'teddy' is to die for. I am defiantly taking these to my next sleepover. I still can't get my head around it that these are to be worn in bed!

As these 'nightwear' collections become increasingly close to being similar to our wardrobes, this last one barely classifies as nightwear. Try this maxi in black or cream.

Pay Day

In the excitement that is pay day, I managed to spend £60 only nine hours after being paid. So much for saving. But it was extremely worth it and after working so hard this month I felt I deserved a treat. Of course every penny of it was spent in Topshop, where else, on a new holiday bikini and a summer dress. I'm happy with my purchases even if my bank account isn't.

Looking for somewhere to collect your coins, slide in your cards & to pop in your notes? In other words a new purse. Here are the purses for all your hard earned cash to live, even if it is just for a little while.

This adorable botanical floral purse has more to it than meets the eye; once opened there are separate pockets & places to keep loose change, notes AND cards. Who would have thought it?

This large clasp purse will hold more than a few pennies.

Oh, we all know what you do with a purse & what goes into it, enjoy the rest of them...

Blogging Brilliance

After trying desperately to work out what songs have been playing at Topshop this month, I stumbled across someones blog who actually stated ALL of the songs played each month! If I could, I would have hugged them. They have now all been successfully downloaded & I can't stop listening to them! You'd think I'd be sick of them by now!

I may have gone a little over board but trust me these are truly awesome songs & there are hundreds more!

New Beginnings

With the sudden outburst of amazingly hot weather this weekend, I have to admit I was too busy sunbathing & enjoying the unusual splash of sunshine that is so rare in England. For once I actually had the whole weekend off and I think it could have been the best weekend I have had in a long, long time. It was filled with cold ciders in the pub garden, a picnic in the park, catching up with friend's over a glass of wine & a rom com and to top it all off a trip to the seaside. It was a rather magical and very enjoyable break and here's to many more to come.

Be prepared for this summer, with THE beach cover-up's this summer.

Yes, this Maxi has already been mentioned in my must have Maxi's and as one of my must-haves this season, which is why it deserves another mention. Picture yourself strolling down the beach with a margarita in hand wearing this beauty. Head's will turn.

For some unknown reason, I am drawn to this striped Maxi. The huge side slit reminds me of Cheryl Cole's trousers when performing on the X Factor. A little strange & unexpected but not necessarily a bad thing. Also available in black.

Maybe a little geeky, unquestionably a vintage feel to them, definitely the coolest crop top & shorts combo I have ever laid eyes on. Cropped top & floaty bloomers in one outfit. Yes please.

To top it all off, a floaty halter necklace dress.

If this isn't exciting enough for you, then you must be ecstatic about the new Kate Moss range for Topshop. After seeing the latest range accompanied by the teaser video, she has certainly gone up a few notches on my favourite-model-scale. The collection is breath taking. Well done Kate. Even more exciting news, is I'll be covering her latest range tomorrow. Now, for the best news of the bunch, the Topshop Knightsbridge opening. Not only did Kate Moss show up for the opening but Anna Wintour herself. How I wish I could have been there. She is one of THE most important individuals in the whole of the fashion industry combined & a huge role model of mine. It is on my list of things to do this year to visit the new store. Whoever attended the opening, I am envious.

Ruffled Up

After just seeing the first ad for BNTM (Britain's Next Top Model) coming up in July, I can't help feeling a little, well, bummed out. After making it sooo close to being on the show, seeing it was like reality smacking me in the face, hard. I still can't believe that Elle Macpherson is the new Judge alongside Julien Macdonald and Grace Woodward. Both of these extraordinary fashion starlets are both featured in my Fashion Bible. Over the years, since I was around the ripe young age of twelve and was spotted by a model scout for the first time, I've created, what I refer to as My 'Fashion Bible.' It's a notebook, filled chockablock with ripped out adverts, magazine cuttings of clothes etc that I've taken a liking to in magazines, biographies of the hottest designers, models, photographers of the seasons, modelling tips, book references, beauty secrets, this season's trends...It is something I am very proud of and use and refer back to every day, whether I'm getting dressed in the morning, having a bad hair day & need a solution, when in need of inspiration. This is why it's my Bible. My baby. Both Macpherson & Macdonald are dedicated a whole page amongst this book. Now that's saying something. It would have been the most amazing experience if I had made it onto the show & had the pleasure, the honour of meeting and working amongst these incredibly talented people but I guess there's always next year. Finger's crossed.

On a new subject, here's the most gorgeous blouses and bits of the season. Enjoy.

All over lace blouse. Underwear is outerwear.

Floral, bow blouse is as summery as ice cream, sandcastles & sunshine

After watching gossip girl the other day, this reminds me of when Serena wanders around in Nate's shirt looking stunning in whatever she 'throws' on. A gorgeous 'boyfriend' shirt is perfect to throw on over denim shorts or to be worn as a dress.

Another gorgeous shirt, bleach &
denim! The popper buttons
are just the cherry on top:
perfect for ripping off for
dramatic effect. Wear over a
dress as a loose denim 'jacket.'

This vintage-looking, ruffled blouse is romantic with a pinch of sophistication. Pair with a high waisted skirt, a long necklace & bobs your uncle, an outfit with a vintage twist.

This black lace waistcoat
somehow falls under the
blouse category, but who
cares, it's a beauty!

Who Likes Short Shorts

Me, me, me! This season there are so many styles to choose from, high waisted, bleach denim, floaty bloomers, the choices are endless! And this time I'm having trouble selecting just a few, so here's a whole bunch of them. See Topshop's website for even more.

From rows of flowers...

...to more formal occasions...

...to high waisted denim...

...to floral hot pants...

...to floaty bloomers...

...to boyish style hareem pants.

Shoes, Glorious Shoes

Now I can fully appreciate the real beauty of all sorts of shoes, here's to honouring every heel, court, sandal, pump, clog, trainer, plimsoll, brogue, loafer and ballet shoe to ever grace this earth. Here are some of the finest shoes a la Topshop.

These frilly slingback pumps are great to just throw on before a picnic in the park or a stroll by the river during the summer months, plus they're coral. My favourite.

Beautifully embellished sandals, ideal on hot summer evenings, if you're abroad of course. Will add a glimmer of glitz and glamour to every step.

Neither brogues of loafers, whatever they are these woven buckle sandals are stunners.

Similar to the other embellished sandals, these also come in pink. Enjoy attempting to choose between.

These Jesus sandals are some of the best I've seen about town. Which is why they're no longer available on the website, sigh, & are instead all being worn, which is where they should be.

Deliciously adorable, these playful little pumps are covered in dashing little daisies.

A little Treat

For those that have actually read my blog, you would also know that May is the month of Must-Haves. After covering everything from accessories to clothes, June is going to be even more fun packed. Although I have a terrible excuse of a camera, I am going to attempt to take pictures to reflect the latest trends & must-haves, I know, exciting right! Instead of just posting pictures you'll get to see them live in action! So, watch this space!

Trilby, Beanie, Floppy, Cowboy, Baker Boy, Caps, Stetson, Visor...

In other word's, a hat. If you happened to have read some of my previous posts you would know I was never a shoe person. What you don't know is I was a hat person. I was one of those people that could pull off pretty much any hat, a real talent, I know. Over the space of a year or so I had a collection of hats that would put Louis Mariette to shame (a slight exaggeration yes) but I no longer have that obsession now it's finally slightly more possible to find a pair of size 9 women's shoes. But here's to hat's, any shape, any size, I will always have a place for you in my heart.

I have a real thing about floppy hats this summer. Crazily enough I don't yet own one but it's a definite on my to-get-list before my holiday travels. There's just something about them that makes me think movie star...I wonder why

Again another beautiful floppy, however very dissimilar. It reminds me of a Chanel masterpiece.

A very traditional summer trait, the straw cowboy hat. Be prepared to see them anywhere and everywhere, especially festivals. No matter what's in fashion, it will always be shorts, checkered shirts, sunnies, wellies and a cowboy hat to top it off.

A real inbetweener here; trilby meets cowboy. Very cute, perfect for that farmer's daughter look. If that's your sort of thing.

Ooh, I do love a good trilby. These have been selling like hot cakes. Get yours fast before it's too late.
